How does inuyasha

In Japan, high school only lasts for three years. The same can be said about Inuyasha: The Final Act , which aired in In the final episode of The Final Act , we learn that Kagome has turned 18, that she finally graduated, and that her friends had gone on to college. At the very end of the series, Kagome marries Inuyasha, and an epilogue explains that she is now living permanently in medieval Japan.

So, what does this mean for the new Inuyasha spin-off series, Hanyo no Yashahime? Apparently, the new series will involve some time travel, as Towa grows up in modern-day Tokyo. Knowing that, it doesn't make sense that a person who was born and raised in Feudal Japan could pick up a bicycle and ride it about as if it were second nature to him.

Granted, Miroku possessed many skills and abilities, but the fact that he could ride a bike without any trouble doesn't make much sense when you think about it for more than a few seconds. Kagome was a year-old Junior High School student and we all knew this because she wore the uniform In some ways, this was a costume, which identified the character, but it really didn't make much sense.

The uniform is hardly practical when it comes to traversing the dangers of Feudal Japan while hunting down shards and battling demons. Why didn't she simply change into something more practical? She had more than enough time and she had plenty of opportunities to throw on some pants and clothes that made sense, but she rarely changed out of her uniform. Perhaps she liked wearing it, but whatever her reasoning, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to traipse around Feudal Japan in a short skirt.

Demons weren't the only creatures present throughout Feudal Japan who seem to have vanished by the present era. The many monsters, or youkai, that roamed about the landscape throughout Feudal Japan are gone and mostly forgotten in the present.

There was never any sort of explanation given for the disappearance of youkai with only a couple of exceptions. The Noh Mask and the Soul Piper were still about, but they were lost or hidden for a long time so they were likely missed by whatever catastrophe befell the monsters of old Japan. Like the demons, they may have been separated from modern times to differentiate between the two worlds, but they may have succumbed to modern weapons as time advanced. Unfortunately, no explanation was ever given so we just don't know.

At one point in the series, we are introduced to the Fox Demon Exam, but the whole event seemed rather pointless and only served as a distraction or side-story that probably could have been left out of the series altogether.

The Exam is introduced when Inuyasha and his team hole up in an inn without knowing its the site of the Exam. Was the Fox Demon Exam necessary for getting promoted in order to grow more tails? Other than that, there didn't seem to be much of a point to it, rather than it being another side-story that the series could have done without. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's claw weapons are some of their most devastating and useful, but they don't make a lot of sense. When you think about it, these guys are dog demons, which means their claws should be similar to those of a dog's.

Dogs don't use their claws as weapons; their claws are used to help in digging and to maintain traction when running on various surfaces.

They are also not retractable like a cat's, which begs the question, why were they used as if they were a cat's claws? Granted, they are demons and have abilities a dog wouldn't normally possess, but it seemed strange that their natural claw weapons were much more cat-like than dog-like given they are dog demons. Early in the series, it is established that Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo, which is why she has the ability to travel through the Bone Eater's Well and possess the Shikon Kewel within her own body.

This is one of those aspects of the series that is easily established, but it does beg the question, why did such a long period of time pass between reincarnations? Kikyo passed away back during the Feudal Japan period and likely would have been reincarnated soon after her passing, but hundreds of years passed before Kagome was born. This was never really explained in the series and there was no indication that others were born in the meantime. Given the long period of time that passed between reincarnations, it does make it seem like there was something missing here.

Kagome and Inuyasha are the only people who have the ability to travel through the Bone Eater's Well from the present and past. This was something of a strategic advantage nobody seemed to think of throughout the series.

As the group recovered shards, they were kept in Feudal Japan Why didn't she simply take them to the present and keep them somewhere safe? Presumably, the shards would have been safe in the present without the treat of some demon stumbling upon them and taking them for themselves. Inuyasha's big sequel anime finally explained why Kagome and Inuyasha have gone missing in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. The big sequel is now in the midst of the second cour of its debut outing, and it has begun answering some of the major questions fans have had concerning the whereabouts of the core characters from Rumiko Takahashi's original series.

Because while they have popped up here and there in flashbacks, they were notably absent from the life of their daughter, Moroha. Following some teases about what could have happened to the two of them, this major mystery has been solved. Now that Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon has returned for its second cour of episodes, it seems we finally have gotten an answer as to why Inuyasha and Kagome are not only missing from the present day events of the seque l, but left their daughter Moroha to grow up without her parents.

Inuyasha was dense and rather slow to catch on; for example, he didn't know of Sango's strong romantic feelings for Miroku until much later than the rest of the group. Through a conspiracy, however, they have torn apart. Inuyasha often saw Kagome's tears during their journey. Whenever tears were shed for him, with their gentle scent bringing relief, he felt that he had found his place as a protector above all else.

Contact with Kagome healed the deep loneliness in his soul. In the beginning, Inuyasha didn't think there was anyone in the world who would grieve over his death. This different comfort was based on Kagome's similar and like-minded spirited approach to life, sharing in Inuyasha's own never-give-up attitude as well as her kindness and warmth towards him, which slowly opened him up to a world less lonely. He quickly changed his goals from obtaining the jewel to obtain more powers for himself to wanting more power to protect Kagome, as pointed out by Miroku shortly before Sango joined the party.

The fear or anger at his lack of belonging caused him to feel intense loneliness. However, Kagome and his allies comforted him, and he was able to develop a strong and gentle disposition over time. Immediately after being released from his fifty-year seal, Inuyasha sought to become a full demon and acquire power quickly by using the Shikon Jewel.

In the rage of battle, he ceased to have concerns for the lives of others. However, after meeting Kagome and other gentle humans, he came to understand his human half and began to search for true strength of spirit instead of raw demonic power.

Inuyasha in his Robe of the Fire-Rat. Inuyasha is of average height, standing at cm, with a lean, wiry frame that belies his massive strength. His ears are furry and pointed like those of a dog and feel like "five uncooked Chinese dumpling shells atop one another.

When he assumes human form, Inuyasha's demonic claws and fangs, as well as his dog ears, disappear. His silver-white hair also changes to black, and his golden eye color changes to brown. When transformed as such, Inuyasha's sclera turned deep red, his irises became blue slits with white pupils, jagged purple stripes appeared on the sides of his face, and his fangs and claws lengthened.

Despite being a half-demon, his demonic power level is the same as a normal demon with no auxiliary skill. Regardless, Inuyasha was one of the most powerful demons seen thus far, and throughout his journey, he was able to take on many powerful supernatural beings e.

When Kagome fell into the well, the Sacred Jewel awoke and subsequently utilized her body to return to the Feudal Era. Once she reached the Feudal Era, Kagome's meandering ways was the reason for releasing Inuyasha from his year slumber on the Goshinboku and was responsible for sealing Naraku's fate. They were forced to team up when Kagome accidentally shattered the Sacred Jewel in an attempt to regain its possession from a demon bird. As a result of his feelings towards her, Inuyasha became fiercely protective of Kagome, saying that "the thought of losing two women is unbearable.

Inuyasha's love for Kagome was quite obvious amongst the group of friends, and they immediately recognized his very strong and fierce protectiveness over her. Since Inuyasha held possessiveness towards Kagome, most enemies, including Naraku, used Kagome to gain an advantage over Inuyasha. Several times throughout the series, even when seriously wounded or near death, Inuyasha spontaneously regained physical strength beyond all odds in order to protect Kagome, much to the surprise of his friends.

This led them to realize that the strength of his desire to protect Kagome brought on such spontaneous physical strength. When they were both trapped in the Sacred Jewel together, Inuyasha realized that he and Kagome were born to be with each other.

After Kagome wished away the Shikon Jewel's existence, the Bone-Eater's Well stopped working, forcing Kagome to return to the modern era for three years, during which time she completed her high school studies.

However, Kagome's strong and overwhelming desire to see Inuyasha again allowed her passage to the Feudal Era once more, and she and Inuyasha were reunited. Inuyasha and Kagome married immediately after her high school graduation, and Kagome moved to the Feudal Era to be with him for the rest of her life, vowing to become a priestess. Inuyasha and Kagome proceeded to live a happy life together, where they were able to adapt to their new, permanent life together.

Four years after their marriage, they had a daughter named Moroha. She sensed a different aura about him, stating that they were similar because they were both outsiders. She used this as an excuse for being unable to kill him, even after he tried a second time to steal the Sacred Jewel. Inuyasha agreed and both of them would live together as humans.

She was initially enraged with Inuyasha for what she believed to be a great betrayal, but it was soon realized that neither party was responsible for the actions that occurred 50 years ago and that they both had been tricked. He later tried to refrain from seeing her, in part due to Kagome's feelings of jealousy. Even after her death, Inuyasha suffered severely for a few days. Kagome sees through this, knowing and understanding that Inuyasha is avoiding the question, meaning Inuyasha most likely would have accepted.

When Miroku tried to make a move on Kagome, Inuyasha instantly got mad and demanded him to never to lay a hand on her or to make any advances towards her whatsoever. This clearly surprised Kagome and caused Miroku to believe Inuyasha was in love with Kagome, which Inuyasha instantly denied, though Miroku was left unconvinced.

Miroku and Inuyasha almost acted like brothers and always looked out for one another. Although Inuyasha was often annoyed with Miroku's lecherous tendencies towards women and viewed him as a hopeless fool, he acknowledges the spiritual power that he possessed. Miroku often gave advice to Inuyasha when it came to Kagome when she was upset with Inuyasha.

Although Inuyasha himself never had a positive role model for an older sibling or perhaps because of it , their relationship was quite similar to two brothers, often disagreeing and fighting out of stubbornness. Kagome later stated that they always fought because they were so close to each other. Inuyasha treated Sango like a sister.

They argued from time to time, but Sango always helped Inuyasha when he was in trouble, and occasionally gave him advice when it came to Kagome. Inuyasha sympathized with her situation with Kohaku , and often tried to give encouragement that he could be saved from Naraku's control.

He cared about Sango and found her a good ally on the battlefield, though he was incredibly dense to Sango's feelings for Miroku, and often shot his mouth off about Miroku's flirtatious personality among women without thinking. This caused him to receive vicious glares from Sango, greatly confusing Inuyasha. Inuyasha, in reaction to this, usually cowered and thought to himself, " What's with the glares? The schoolmates of Kagome's that initially believed Inuyasha to be a long distance and toxic boyfriend.

They encountered him during a school cultural festival. When they finally met him, they thought of him as a celebrity. They were fascinated, but not suspicious. Inuyasha did his best to answer their questions. They concluded he is a foreign exchange student that works at the shrine.

When he comes to get Kagome, they meet him again. Although, in parts of the series, he would come back and warn Inuyasha of danger or instruct him on how to make Tessaiga stronger.

Kaede and Inuyasha also started to share trust with each other as Kaede initially wanted to tell Inuyasha about a wounded evil bandit named Onigumo. Inuyasha was often seen being rude to Kaede by using the terms "old hag" or "old woman" on numerous occasions, however, he can be seen caring for her as well with him rushing over to her once he smelled her blood during Urasue's attack.

Even though we can see Inuyasha showing many signs of disliking Kaede, we can also see that he masks out his care for her like he does for many of his other allies.

Though despite all their fighting, the two did help each other when the other needed it and eventually became friends. Inuyasha had a vindictive side, shown when it came to Jaken; for example, when he caught Jaken trying to steal the Tessaiga, he swore to make him pay the next time they crossed paths, an oath he fulfilled by beating him up.

In Episode , she guided him and his friends to another way to the Border of the Afterlife, was the gateway to the border in the Realm of Fire. In Episode , he felt surprised what Miroku said that Kagura had been betrayed Naraku as she guided them to his heart inside a temple that looked like a monster until she felt surprised that he made a trap. He entrusted Tessaiga to Inuyasha, knowing he'd care for humans and protect them, having human blood in his veins. He also gave him Tessaiga to keep Inuyasha's demon blood in check.

Inuyasha never met his father, but he did know of him and respected his power, gaining even more respect for him after he gained his father's sword, Tessaiga.
